QUALIFICATION: AQA - LEVEL 3 IN MATHEMATICAL STUDIES

The skills developed by studying mathematics are increasingly important for accessing a range of careers and for courses which you may choose at University. Studying Core Mathematics will help you keep up these essential skills without having to study a traditional A-Level course. What you will study is not purely theoretical or abstract; instead it will show how Mathematics can be applied on a day-to-day basis in work, study or life and will also include a financial Mathematics element.  It will link closely with other A-Level subjects that you might choose – in particular with science, geography, business studies, psychology and economics.
